Lovely country lodge/inn. There is a extensive play ground which will keep the children occupied for hours. Staff are always frendley. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. Rooms are great too. Well worth a visit
Lunch today was excellent especially the mixed grill. Always a favourite. Only thing i could mention is walking out the main door into group of smokers when there is a dedicated area for smoking.
Great place to stop overnight on the A303. Lovely welcome from staff, great food and ale selection. Room price was incredibly reasonable and included a huge breakfast selection. Room was very warm- too warm for my husband but I was super cosy! Highly recommend either for lunch, dinner and overnight stay. We had to rush off in the morning so I didn't get to see the pygmy goats unfortunately- next time!
outstanding value for money. Very comfy bed with crisp white cotton linen. Ensuite with lots of towels. Very nice cooked breakfast within price and other alternatives available. Pleasant staff.
The room was clean, the bed was comfy and I had a great little shared balcony on the back of the room to smoke on. The bathroom was modern and spotless.I had fillet steak with tempura prawns which was very good if not excellent! Breakfast was quite slow to arrive but was of excellent quality. In summary: a quiet, clean Inn with good food. Perfect for buisness or pleasure.
