Lovely village location. Shame that we arrived too late (1.55) for food. Barmaid not particularly welcoming and seemed baffled by the question: "Do you serve hot drinks?" Gents loo wash-basin was unacceptably filthy. Good pint of Otter though.

Situated in a lovely little village. Friendly staff, interesting churchyard over the road with a sarcophagus ! Nice beer garden and decor. Food good. Dogs welcome if well behaved.

Reading the other reviews I can only assume that when I ate here it was the chef's night off. In the unlikely event I ever try it again I'll order a burger. Anybody can cook a burger - trained chef or not.
