Lovely family owned pub with a great atmosphere. Good food and craft cider! Regular events, beer garden and function room.
A beautiful old pub in the middle of town at Wincanton. Traditional ales and trendy Gins sold in this small quaint old build. They also do homemade fantastic food, on the menu it does advise that you will have at least a 30min wait....but it is worth it. Also the specials board is a definite look at. Prawns bought by the pint, oysters in their shells gives you a good insight on what a small kitchen can produce. We will go again, it states it's dog, kiddie and welly friendly, only let down a very small car parking area situated opposite the pub it's self. All staff friendly and very helpful.
